The highest peak in the World, Mt. Everest, measures 29028 feet, (8848 meters) and climbing toppers feel pride and adventure in climbing it. This peak was first climbed by Sir Edmond Hillary New Zealand and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa Nepal on May 29, 1953, after a long time of effort. The Everest Base Camp sits at a height of 18,000 feet or 5300 meters from sea level on the north side of the Khumbu glacier. This expedition normally lasts 90 days for the duration of the climbing.

There are a lot of climbers massing at the base camp, all of whom seem eager to prepare for their expedition to reach the summit. There are climbers who climb this mountain on their own risk, without climbing Sherpa guides; and there are climbers who go with their own climbing Sherpa guides. The majority of teams carry their own Internet, Satellite phone, Medical Doctor, and other modern necessities. As soon as we reach the base camp, we have to cross crevasses, seracs, and ice blocks. Similarly, we should have used fixed ropes and aluminum ladders to climb ahead of camp 1st 6400m with chunks of ice the size of our houses.

Camp 1: 20000ft. (6,400m); Camp 1 is located in the flat area of endless snow-filled crevasses and mountain walls. This place has a warm, heating atmosphere as a result of the Sun's reflection. Our tent is surrounded by deep murmuring cracking sounds of crevasses at night. To reach camp 2, we must walk through these areas.

Camp 2. 21000ft. (6,750m); We must proceed to camp 2 at a height of 21000ft, which is situated at the foot of the icy mount Lhotse wall. Here, the weather is good, but bad clouds descend from the Himalayan valleys to the bottom of camp two. The wind here can sometimes be so violent that it destroys our tents. The third camp is reached after climbing these palaces.

Camp 3. 22300ft. (7,100m): In addition to its location at the height of 22300 feet, Camp 3 is located adjacent to the wall of Mount Lhotse, 8516 meters high. As we ascend Lhotse's 4000ft wall with fixed ropes and undergo prior acclimatization, we reach camp 4. Moreover, we must ascend steep allow bands (loss, down-slopping, and rotten limestone). Following their crossing of the short snowfield, the route heads up the Geneva Spur to the east before finishing on the flats of the south col. (Another name for the well-meaning saddle of the pass). It is probably a good idea to keep oxygen above base camp 3 just in case climbers need it.

Camp 4. 26000ft. (8,400m): We are now at camp 4 located at a height of 26000 feet; this is the last camp of the expedition. From here the summit is only about 500 meters away. As the climb nears its conclusion, besieged by ferocious and violent winds, this is the final, most challenging part of the climb. It is common to reach the summit via the narrow South - East Ridge, which precedes the South Summit of 28710 feet. From here, the route leads easily to the summit of 29028 feet, and it was this route used by Sir Edmond Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa in 1953.
