| Gosaikunda region is easily approachable from Kathmandu. Each area is a good choice for those with limited time. It offers much that cultural and natural adventure. In a week to ten days, any one can visit one of these areas by crossing high mountain passes. A three-week trip is enough for all the three areas. The Himalayan views overall are not quite as spectacular as in the Annapurna or Khumbu region, but they belong to unforgettably beautiful views with less crowded and friendly people. TheHelambhu-Gosainkunda trek takes one to Gosainkunda Lake - a sacred site for Buddhists and Hindus as well. It is famous for both trekking and pilgrimage in the high hill...
