Trip Itinerary
Day 01: Thursday - Arrival Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Friday – Morning start Kathmandu Valley guided sightseeing full day (6 hours)
Day 03: Saturday – Kathmandu /Zhangmu (2,300M.) 127 KM. Our bus/Jeep departs at 6:00 A.M. for the Nepal – Tibet border at Tatopani - Lipping. The reporting time for the journey is 5:45 A.M. at Himalayan Bank Thamel. Our 4/5 hour journey goes up to border through agricultural fields and passes through traditional villages, following the Bhote Koshi River. From the border (Friendship Bridge), Tibetan guide will be boarder for pick up and bring paper for Tibet immigration formalities. All finish Immigration formalities and guide will be taking you to Zhangmu bazaar ad overnight here.
Day 04: Sunday: Zhangmu - Nyalam (3700m.) 30 KM. Rising through the dry, plateau highlands. It is only 30Km from Zhangmu, arrive Nyalam and rest for acclimatization here. All most full day
Day 05: Monday Nyalam –Shegar (3,900m.) 244 kilometers. We will drive to Milarepa's cave and reach after completed 30km. from Nyalam, We can see ad visit Melarepa monastery. Offer stunning views of the world's highest mountain range, including: Mount Shishapangma-8,027m., Mount Gauri Shankar 7,134m. Mount Cho Oyo 8,021m., Mount Everest 8,848m., we will cross Nyalam pass (3,800m.) and Lalung La (5,050m.) passes along the way, stopping to enjoy the views.
Day 06: Tuesday – Shegar - Shigatse (3,950m.) 244 Kilometers: Arrive Shigatse and explore Tibet's second largest city, Shigatse, including the world famous Tashilumpo Monastery, Overnight here.
Day 07: Wednesday-Shigatse to Lhasa (3,650m.) 270 KM. Many busy villages, yaks, mountains sheep, our route today, as we cross the famous Brahma-Putra River (Son of Brahma, the creator. Brahma is a Hindu God). Final destination awaits - Lhasa.
Day 08 & 09: Thursday – Friday in Lhasa: Sightseeing and excursions of Potala Palace, Norbulinka, The Jokhang and surrounding Barkhor Bazaar, Drepung and Sera Monasteries
Day 10: Saturday- Lhasa-Kathmandu: Early morning, we will be heading to the airport (Gonggar-90 Km.) Southwest of Lhasa. With boundless beauty speed below, this is perhaps the most beautiful flight in the world.
Day 11: Final departure to your destination (transfer to airport from hotel)
