Mount Nojin Kangsang (7252m.) Expedition

Nojin Kangsang

Fixed Departure
02 September 2017

Mount Nojing Kangsang, located in between the way Zhangmu to Lhasa of Tibet is one of the most beautiful peaks in Tibet. A Japanese climber called Tadakiyo Sakahara (56) climbed this peak for the first time. The base camp can be set up at Anyang Pu. The Advance Base camp is at the eastern ridge of Nojing Khangsantg, beyond the Anyang Pu base camp. You can advance your climbing, gradually resting and fixing your day camps from ABC. It takes approximately 9 days to step on the Summit. Another easier route to climb this peak is from Karo La pass which goes toward summit from its southwest ridge. There is Karo glacier at the high of 6650m in between. Nojinkangsang was fist climbed on April 28, 1986 by a Chinese – Tibetan mountaineering team, from this ridge with 12 climbers. Lhasa is at 190 km distance From Karo La.
