Tibet Everest Expedition After you land on the Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu, your Mount Everest Expedition begins. The staffs of Monterosa Treks and Expedition welcome you at Airport and take you to hotel. On the Next day, there is introduction session with all our crew members and the travelers.  Since then we arrange for your Tibet Visa and other necessary formal documents for the Everest Expedition. Three days after your arrival to Kathmandu, we drive you towards Nepal-Tibet border on the Araniko high way.  The Friendship Bridge is located through Araniko Highway and the Chinese liaison officer and Chinese transportation keep waiting us there. From there, we drive you by Land Cruiser 4WD to the first entrance city to Tibet, Zhangbu and other trucks takes entire expedition gears.

It gives you good refreshments on acclimatizing one night at Zhangmu (2300m) and two nights at Nyalam (3750). Also, there are chances to trek up the hills for acclimatization. Next day, our journey will be to Tingri (4350m) where we try to familiarize our self for further two nights. Then, along with the jerking and bouncing way through the grassy plain we drive to Base camp (5200m), from Tingri. This leads you till to the Everest Base Camp, also known as the Chinese base camp. We stay in our camp at Chinese Base camp for two or more nights as per our member’s choice. We also prepare schedules of the yaks by that time. Base camp and advance base camp are kept there permanently at different places.

After walking for 2 days along with the Yaks, ABC (6400M) is reached. From ABC, the route goes to the east Rongbuk glacier and from where an easy snowy slope to the North Col at 7070m begins. Camp 1 is situated on snow here. After that there is a long angled snow slopes to climb 7900m. We should put camp 2 on the snow with mixed rock here. The route from camp 2 to camp 3 is a little bit difficult as there is it is rocky way. Climbing ahead to set up camp 3 at the height of 8300m from camp 2 on the slopes rock to target North summit and last evening start climbing for final summit. A median angled snow slopes is there while going through series of rocky climbs, where we have to climb on joint rocks and snow until we reach camp heights of 8400m. To reach there, ropes should be fixing but there are safety lines, with safe places to rest when you are tired and environments seem windy. Now the rocks and snow mixed steeply route. So, you need to be very conscious Tibet Expedition while moving ahead with your clothes oxygen equipments. However, the North East Ridge is wider after that. But, we have to climb through small steps with a little bit height until we go ahead where we should fix the rope so we must be very careful.

A little bit exposed climbing is above there but it is easy again to reach ahead in the second steps. After the second steps the route is in the series of sometime snow covered small nude ridge. After that the route with large boulder begins.  Ladder should be used to climb ahead and we should fix the rope again after that section of the route. Now, the route is relatively easy with gentle ground until we reach at the third steps. There is not the series of ridge as the previous steps while moving ahead; we should use the fixed rope to the Col before the final summit of snowy slopes. There are quite steep again on the route so fixed ropes are to pass the buttressed rocks from where there is a short section of corniced ridge to conquer the highest point of the Earth, Mount Everest (8848m).
