Kula Kangri Expedition

Fixed Departure
20 April 2017

Mount Kula Kangri is a famous Mountain and the “Tibet-China Mountaineering Association “open for its expedition. The route follows from Kathmandu’ passing Zhangmu, Nyalm, Tingri, Ghantse and reaching the Kula Khanri Base camp. Many sources cite this mountain as the highest mountain in Bhutan, but it is situated exactly in between the boarder of Bhutan and Tibet. There are three summits in this beautiful big peaked mountain. The west summit is the highest, the north face is an intimidating wall of rock and ices over 2000m high that is almost entirely capped by sera’s, the south face is equally big and steep and the eastern and western ends are significantly easier for climbing. But, both are long and difficult routes.
