Tibet Everest ExpeditionYour aim of conquering Mount Everest begins when you arrive to Kathmandu and meet with our staff of Monterosa Treks & Expedition in the airport. Then they transfer you to the hotel. We have the orientation program on the next day with our crew members and travelers. Since then we make your Tibet visa and other necessary documents for the Everest Expedition. After 3 day of your arrival at Nepal, we drive you towards Nepal-Tibet border on the Araniko high way where the Friendship Bridge is located. The Chinese liaison officer and Chinese transportation keep waiting us there. The expedition gears are taken by truck and we drive you by Land cruiser 4WD to the first entrance city of Tibet, Zhangmu.

To refresh and make ourselves habituate with the climate and altitude, one night at Zhangmu (2300m) and two nights at Nyalam (3750m) are spent.  Also, there are chances to trek up the hills for acclimatization. Then we drive to Tingri (4350m) to spend further two nights acclimatizing our self. Then we drive to Base camp (5200m) from Tingri along the bumpy way through the grassy plain way which leads you till to the Everest Base Camp which is also called the Chinese base camp. We have set up our camp at Chinese Base Camp and stay two or more nights as per our member’s choice. We also make schedules of the yaks by that time and Base camp and advance base camp, fixed at the different places are kept there permanently.

Walking for 2 days along with the Yaks, we reach to ABC 6400m. Then the route goes to the east Rongbuk glacier from where there is an easy snowy slope to the North Col at 7070m. Camp 1 is situated on snow at this place. A long angled snow slopes is after that to climb 7900m, where we should put camp 2 on the snow with mixed rock. Camp 2 to camp 3 route is the series of the rocks, which is quite arduous. Then we climb from camp 2 on the sloppy rock to set up camp 3 at the height of 8300m. From camp 3, North summit is targeted and last evening start climbing for final summit. There is a median angled snow slopes passing through series of rocky slopes where we have to climb on joint rocks and snow until we reach camp heights of 8400m. We have to fix the ropes on climbing to reach there but there are safety lines with safer place to rest and avoid windy environment as the route is mostly windy.

Tibet Expedition Mixed with rocks and snow steps begin now. You should be very much careful with your clothing, oxygen and other equipment passing this route as it is quite steep and difficult. The North East Ridge is wider after that but we have to climb through narrow steps with a little bit height until we go ahead where rope should be fixed.

Climbing above this is a little bit exposed but it is easy again to reach ahead in the second steps. After the second steps the route is in the series of small nude ridge, which sometimes seem snow covered. A large boulder route begins from here, where we ladder should be used to climb ahead. Rope should be fixed after that section of route. The route is relatively easy with gentle ground until we reach at the third steps. We should use the fixed rope to the Col before the final summit of snowy slopes. Again there are quite steep and needed fixed ropes to go ahead to the buttressed rocks from where there is a short section of corniced ridge to kiss the world’s tallest peak Mount Everest (8848m).
