Tukuche peak 6920m. Expedition autumn 2017


Mount Tukuche (6920m) is situated in the Dhaulagiri range. It is becoming one of the popular peaks in that area. You should acclimatize before climbing this technical mountain. Journey from Pokhara, passing Beni, Tatopani, Kalopani, Marpha takes us to base camp of Tukuche peak. You may also take a direct flight to Jomsom (2800m. m.) from Pokhara and trek to Marpha, Yak Kharka, Hidden valley and reach Tucukche peak base camp. Tukuche (Dhaulagiri Himal - North East of Dhaulagiri) was first ascended by Swiss team in 1969. Till today, total 38 expeditions 19 teams had succeeded including 72 people submitted. Last successful expedition was in autumn 2003 by French from North West Ridge.

Base Camp (5,100m) Camp I- (5,600m) Camp II- (6,100m) North West ridge, Most of Group using only camp 1 and camp 2 and finally reach summit from camp 2 -6,100m, to step on the summit.
